Castle Youth Football Club
"Dear community,
Since our earliest conversations as founders, James Kitia and I knew that one of our main goals in planting the seeds that became Edgewater Castle FC, was to create a club that could develop the talented youth of Rogers Park, Edgewater and Uptown into top regional, national and international soccer prospects, all while staying far away from the usual financial requirements of that pathway.
Now in our 6th year of existence, and after learning a great deal through our experiences as an adult club, we are starting the next phase of our journey toward those goals. Though our Men's & Women's programs have grown exponentially over the course of the last few years, we know that there is a significant amount more we can contribute to the growth of soccer experiences for the youth in our neighborhoods.
We are proud to announce Castle Youth Football Club - a new model for an accessible soccer pipeline for local youth of all ages, all levels of commitment and all levels of talent. This youth system will create free daily avenues for any and all youth in our community to engage with the club for after school soccer programming, recreational leagues and a talent identification structure that guides the most talented players to our elite boys and girls teams.
