Edgewater Castle FC Announces Partnership with Acorns

CHICAGO — Edgewater Castle FC (ECFC) is thrilled to announce the financial wellness app Acorns as the Club’s Exclusive Financial Sector Partner for the 2025 season. With this partnership, Acorns will appear as Edgewater Castle’s front of kit sponsor, and Acorns Early, the smart money app and debit card made just for kids and teens, will provide support to the club’s youth programming initiatives along Chicago’s far-north lakefront neighborhoods.
“Acorns is committed to helping individuals take small steps toward big financial goals, guided by the principle that from tiny acorns, mighty oaks do grow. The same principle inspires Acorns’ engagement with local organizations and youth programs. Through collaborations with rising community organizations like Edgewater Castle FC, Acorns can deliver the responsible tools of wealth-making to everyday people and families across America,” said Acorns CEO Noah Kerner.
“We at ECFC could not be more excited or more proud to form this partnership with Acorns & Acorns Early in 2025. One of the cornerstones of our organization is accessibility, which Acorns provides to millions of families of all income brackets and societal backgrounds with their more equitable model for day-to-day investing,” said President & General Manager of Edgewater Castle FC Andrew Swanson.
Edgewater Castle FC is proud to invite Acorns into the Edgewater Castle community to help our fans and their families grow their financial portfolios through their emphasis on financial education. With their investment, Acorns will become a steadfast ally to our neighbors by establishing inroads for accessible investment opportunities, providing tools for success for growing small businesses, and by encouraging financial literacy. This partnership will offer members of our community a fun, fresh matchday experience, and special promotions, including free season tickets for select new Acorns accounts.
“This partnership not only allows ECFC to grow as an elite semi-pro soccer organization in Chicago’s far north side, but also provides us with the opportunity to expand and strengthen our free youth soccer programs in our neighborhoods,” said Swanson. “We couldn’t be more grateful to Acorns for their support, and look forward to an exciting year of growth and collaboration ahead.”
